You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain is the core idea of The Dark Knight. And I believe Shankar wanted to convey that message in Indian 2 with a resurgence as The Dark Knight Rises in Indian 3.
However, that is where the comparison ends. Lengthy dialogues and lengthier kill sequences make it a pain to watch. What could have been an interesting watch is made unnecessarily tedious.
Enough said. I am not even going to talk about the various singing, dancing, running varmams..as someone said in the movie itself and reversing it.. enna varmam da idhu... idhu varmam illa.. karmam...
